The objective of this study is analyze how the production of urban space effect the daily life of black women in the city, and in this study, that who lives on Cidade Cristo Rei Community in Montes Claros-MG. For this understanding to be possible, eight women will participate in the construction of this research, through interviews or monitoring of their daily incursions, and the information will be captured through orality and observation of their experiences and perceptions about Montes Claros and the community where they live in. Urban mobility will be the guiding axis of the investigations, although it can unfold into aspects such as productive, domestic, reproductive work and leisure and how the city is part of the supply of these demands. Thus, it is essential to study the historical processes that shape the hierarchies and structures that framework Brazilian society, in order to understand which social order is projected under the urban space and how the city segregates and materializes its oppressions, and which bodies are the most marginalized and has the right to the city denied. The use of intersectionality as a method of social theoretical analysis in this work is essential to show how black women are subject to gender and racial oppression and how these bodies experience society and consequently the urban space. It is necessary to introduce and contextualize the insertion of the city of Montes Claros in the regional context to then describe the territorial evolution of the Cidade Cristo Rei Community, which coexists with the stigma of the presence of drug trafficking, through documents, maps and images. Finally, discuss the daily life of women who live in this community in the city.
