Cheerleading is a sport that combines gymnastics, weightlifting, and dance fundamentals, which became stronger in Brazil through the university athletic community and in places with a large concentration of college students, such as Uberlândia. The city is one of the biggest Cheerleading poles in Brazil today, with a significant number of teams, nationally known athletes, and a great participation in Cheer events. However, the infrastructure available in the city for training does not correspond to the demand of the teams today, both in terms of quantity and quality of spaces. Therefore, this work aims to design a Cheerleading Training Center for the city of Uberlândia in order to reinforce the existing teams and allow more people to learn and practice the sport. The work was developed in two stages: the first focused on understanding the history and growth of Cheerleading, the needs of the city's athletes, the functioning of training places similar to the proposed one and the elaboration of a preliminary study; and the second stage focused on the improvement and development, effectively, of the architectonic project of the proposal.
