Resumo: This work seeks to undertand, with a case study, the reason for so much prejudice with LGBT community, specifically, at this moment, about transsexual and travesti community. Through reports about what happened with Dandara, a travesti who was killed in Fortaleza-CE, I seeks to undertand the origen of this anger and prejudice, specifically in Brazil, dearling since the time of colonization by the Portugueses. In the course of the development of this work I pass by great authors, like Judith Butler, Aline Rocha and Hannah Arendt. This, because, with them studies i try to bring concepts and a good fundation to explain this prejudice that kill. Therefore, a line od research is drawn,where I start by analyzing the colonization of Brazil, he Christian belief being imposed on the people who lived here, and how this belief abhorred practices that were banned. I bring too some dice mades by ANTRA, what is the Associação Nacional de Transsexual e Travesti, importante dice to the undertanding of the struggle of this community.

Por meio de relatos do ocorrido com Dandara, uma travesti que foi morta em Fortaleza-CE, busco entender a origem dessa raiva e preconceito, especificamente no Brasil, tratando desde o momento da colonização dos portugueses. No decorrer do desenvolvimento deste trabalho eu passo por grandes autoras, como Judith Butler, Aline Rocha e Hannah Arendt. Isto, pois, com seus estudos e pesquisa eu tento trazer conceitos e uma boa fundamentação para explicar esse preconceito que mata. Sendo assim, é traçado uma linha de pesquisa, onde começo analisando a colonização do Brasil, a crença cristã sendo imposta ao povo que aqui viviam, e como essa crença abominava práticas que foram proibidas.
