A polynomial interpolation method is presented for the exact linearization of a nonlinear system via state feedback. The discretization of the State coordinates (constrained to a paralelepiped) and Kronecker products are used to transform the partial diferential equations describing the necessary conditions for the system exact linearization into a system of homogeneous linear equations. Existence theorems are established in terms of the solution of the homogeneous system plus a nontriviality condition. Also, a simple and efficient computational algorithm is presented for the effective implementation of the method. Com­putational results show that with an adequate pole alocation on the system diffeomorphic copy one can prevent the state trajectories from escaping too far away from the linearizing parallelepiped. Using a case study, it is shown how the system trajectories can be constrained to the parallelepiped by a convenient allocation of the closed-loop poles.
