Resumo: This assignment's goal is to bring up a discussion about the feminine beauty standards that are imposed by the media, society and culture. To show and talk about women who work artistically and deal with the fact that they don't fit in these ideal body types. The methodologies used were bibliographic research in books, articles and analysis of the artist's works as well. Our theoretical reference are David Le Breton, Denize Bernuzzi De Sant'anna and the artists Fernanda Magalhães e Evelyn Queiroz. They also discuss how the subject of women's beauty standards affects our society.
