Quais são as mudanças que enfrentam no seu dia a dia? Quais são as possibilidades de resistir ou se adaptar a estas mudanças? Logo, esta monografia investiga as mudanças no mundo do trabalho na perspectiva dos trabalhadores comuns (técnicos em telecomunicações) que dificilmente têm a oportunidade de registrar a sua visão dos acontecimentos. Para tanto o autor utilizou fontes orais. O primeiro capítulo faz um pequeno resgate da reestruturação produtiva das telecomunicações, destacando a empresa TELEMIG/TELEMAR. O segundo e o terceiro capítulos procuram estabelecer um diálogo com as narrativas dos trabalhadores.
