Resumo: In this work we shall discuss about Liouville Numbers, a special set of transcendental numbers. The first chapter is devoted to the construction of transcendental numbers according to the ideas present in an article by Joseph Liouville in 1844. These transcendents are called Liouville Numbers and in the second chapter we will explore the properties of these numbers, how numerous they are and how they are distributed on the line. To finalize the work, we will show that e and π are transcendent numbers that are not Liouville numbers.
