Resumo: | This article aimed to dimension the diameters of the wet suction ammonia pipes, pumped liquid, hot gas for defrosting and the defrost return of the air coolers of a 35-ton poultry freezing tunnel, located in the city of Santa Izabel from Pará/PA and compare with the results obtained in the Danfoss selection software called Coolselector2 and also with the diameters existing in the freezing tunnel under study. The work is relevant because the adequate dimensioning of the ammonia pipes in industrial refrigeration facilities is important, avoiding the financial waste of oversizing and also avoiding the reduction of efficiency of the industrial refrigeration facility, through the under sizing. As a result, it was observed that, for the pipes of each equipment, there is a tendency for the diameter of the existing coolers to be smaller than that calculated and selected in the software, and for general collectors, it was observed that the calculated diameter tends to be smaller than the others (software and existing). |

O trabalho teve como objetivos dimensionar os diâmetros das tubulações de amônia de sucção úmida, líquido bombeado, gás quente para degelo e retorno do degelo dos resfriadores de ar de um túnel de congelamento de aves com capacidade de trinta e cinco toneladas, localizado na cidade de Santa Izabel do Pará/PA e comparar com os resultados obtidos no software de seleção da empresa Danfoss chamado Coolselector2 e com os próprios diâmetros existentes no túnel de congelamento em estudo. O trabalho tem relevância porque é importante o adequado dimensionamento das tubulações de amônia em instalações frigoríficas industriais, evitando-se o desperdício financeiro de se superdimensionar e evitar a redução de eficiência da instalação frigorífica industrial através do subdimensionamento. Como resultados, observou-se que, para as tubulações de cada equipamento, há uma tendência do diâmetro dos resfriadores existentes serem menores do que o calculado e o selecionado no software e, para os coletores gerais, observou-se que o diâmetro calculado tende a ser menor que os demais (software e existente).
