In this article, we bring to the discussion the Sense of Responsibility in community development projects in Mozambique, based on the partial content of our master's dissertation, based on exploratory field research of a qualitative nature. It intended to study the role of the main actors in community development projects to understand the degree of effort in producing a sense of responsibility as a preponderant factor for the subsistence of projects, considering the issue of sustainability and continuity of development projects in relation to the results after of its termination and the consequent withdrawal of funds by the cooperation partners. The results showed that the development of a sense of responsibility requires, in addition to integration, teaching and learning actions by the community, as this form of interaction is uncommon and contradicts common ways of doing politics promoted by the logic of representative democracy and actions. of law. In addition to recognizing the contribution of the production of a sense of responsibility to community practices, this analysis invites us to reflect on the possibilities of expanding these practices towards the expansion of their potential for transformation, as well as on the political dimension of community practices. The production of a sense of responsibility is based on a tool that can produce various types of social changes, whether in the integration of beneficiaries in the project processes, as well as the mutual understanding between all those involved in promoting the engagement of communities.
