The participation of the PET Agronomia group in the dissemination and elucidation of high school teachers and students about the Agronomy course

Resumo: | The Tutorial Education Program (TEP) Agronomy group of the Federal Rural University of the Amazon (UFRA) was founded in 1995 and has the main objective of providing, through tutoring, the development of research, teaching and extension. Compliance with the tripod corresponding to the extension is achieved through actions such as vocational fairs in public and private schools in Belém and neighboring locations, where the agronomy course is disseminated to the local community. At these events, the members inform them about the professional performance of the Agronomist in order to provide a better basis for the students' decision making. There is also an exhibition of what TEP is and what it means to be a petian within the university. The actions occurred in the period 2017 to 2019. Currently, the group has a member who participated in a vocational fair promoted by UFRA and chose to choose agronomy as a professional area. |

El cumplimiento del trípode correspondiente a la extensión se logra a través de acciones como ferias vocacionales en escuelas públicas y privadas de Belém y localidades aledañas, donde se difunde el curso de agronomía a la comunidad local. En estos eventos, los integrantes les informan sobre el desempeño profesional del Ingeniero Agrónomo con el fin de brindar una mejor base para la toma de decisiones de los estudiantes. También hay una exposición de qué es el PET y qué significa ser petian dentro de la universidad. Las acciones se han realizado en el periodo 2017 a 2019. Actualmente, el grupo tiene un integrante que participó de una feria vocacional promovida por la UFRA y se inclinó por elegir la agronomía como área profesional.O grupo do Programa de Educação Tutorial (PET) Agronomia da Universidade Federal Rural da Amazônia (UFRA) foi fundado em 1995 e possui o objetivo principal de proporcionar, através da tutoria, o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, ensino e extensão. Nesses eventos, os integrantes os informam acerca da atuação profissional do (a) Engenheiro (a) Agrônomo (a) para assim possibilitar melhor embasamento à tomada de decisão dos estudantes. Ocorre também a exposição do que é o PET e o que significa ser petiano dentro da universidade. As ações aconteceram no período de 2017 a 2019.
