Use of the Arch of Maguerez in the design of health education on integrative and complementary practices

Resumo: This study aims to report the experience of using the Problematization Methodology with the support of Arco de Maguerez in the undergraduate nursing course, as well as the results achieved. The experience took place with 5 students from a public higher education  institution, located in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The five stages of the Arch of Maguerez were carried out: 1. Observation of reality; 2. Key Points; 3. Theorizing; 4. Solution hypotheses; 5. Application to reality. The experience resulted in the application of an educational action and continuing education. Such educational action focused on comprehensive care, as it cooperated for holistic care, and added knowledge of alternative methods for the promotion and prevention of mental and physical health problems through integrative and complementary practices to all involved.

La experiencia se llevó a cabo con 5 estudiantes de una institución de educación superior pública, ubicada en Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brasil. Se llevaron a cabo las cinco etapas del Arco de Maguerez: 1. Observación de la realidad; 2 4 . Puntos clave; 3. Teorizar; 4. Hipótesis de solución; 5. Aplicación a la realidad. La experiencia resultó en la aplicación de una acción educativa y de educación continua. Tal acción educativa se enfocó en la atención integral, pues cooperó para el cuidado olístico, y agregó conocimiento de métodos alternativos para la promoción y prevención de problemas de salud mental y física a través de prácticas integradoras y  complementarias a todos los involucrados.Este estudo objetiva relatar a experiência do uso da Metodologia da Problematização com apoio doArco de Maguerez no curso de graduação em Enfermagem, bem como os resultados alcançados. A experiência se deu com 5 alunos de uma instituição de ensino superior pública, localizada em Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brasil. Foram realizadas as cinco etapas do Arco de Maguerez: 1. Observação da realidade; 2. Pontos-chave; 3. Teorização; 4. Hipóteses de solução; 5. Aplicação à realidade. A vivência resultou na aplicação de uma ação educativa e em uma educação continuada.
