Resumo: This study sought to reflect on episodes of racism that occur in school contexts, whether carried out by students and/or teachers. It was carried out in a public school in Serra Talhada - PE, developed in two stages: The first, focused on the investigation of the profile of the young participants and the practices of racism suffered and/or witnessed in the school context. In the second stage, we carried out four online conversation rounds. The conversations were analyzed one by one through thematic analysis, considering the social markers that intersect with race, gender, and class. Racist practices are reproduced by students and professors and are present in the language, in the way of referring to students, and through what some understood as "jokes". One issue that stood out and appeared in all the conversations was the prejudice related to hair, and especially the young girls, being the target of curses and nicknames.
