Use of problematization methodology in the development of an educational action in health with the use of essential oils and massage

Resumo: | The use of active methodologies in higher education in the area of health allows students to achieve greater protagonism in the development of health actions. In this context, this study aimed to report the experience of using the Problematization methodology with the support of Arco de Maguerez in the undergraduate nursing course. The experience took place with 12 students from a public higher education institution. Upon returning to face-to-face classes, the five stages of the Arch of Maguerez were carried out: 1. Observation of reality; 2. Key Points; 3. Theorizing; 4. Solution hypotheses; 5. Application to reality. The experience resulted in the development of an educational action entitled “Untying us”. This educational action focused on comprehensive care and added knowledge of alternative methods for the promotion and prevention of mental and physical health problems to all involved through the use of essential oils and relaxing massage. |

En ese contexto, este estudio tuvo como objetivo relatar la experiencia del uso de la metodología Problematización con el apoyo de Arco de Maguerez en el curso de graduación en enfermería. La experiencia se llevó a cabo con 12 estudiantes de una institución de educación superior pública. Al regresar a las clases presenciales se realizaron las cinco etapas del Arco de Maguerez: 1. Observación de la realidad; 2. Puntos clave; 3. Teorizar; 4. Hipótesis de solución; 5. Aplicación a la realidad. La experiencia resultó en el desarrollo de una acción educativa titulada “Desatándonos”. Esta acción educativa se centró en la atención integral y agregó el conocimiento de métodos alternativos para la promoción y prevención de problemas de salud mental y física a todos los involucrados a través del uso de aceites esenciales y masajes relajantes.O emprego de metodologias ativas no ensino superior na área de saúde possibilita que os estudantes alcancem maior protagonismo no desenvolvimento de ações em saúde. Nesse contexto, este estudo objetivou relatar a experiência do uso da metodologia da Problematização com apoio do Arco de Maguerez no curso de graduação em Enfermagem. A experiência se deu com 12 alunos de uma instituição de ensino superior pública. No retorno às aulas presenciais, foram realizadas as cinco etapas do Arco de Maguerez: 1. Observação da realidade; 2. Pontos-chave; 3. Teorização; 4. Hipóteses de solução; 5. Aplicação à realidade. A vivência resultou no desenvolvimento de uma ação educativa intitulada “Desatando nós”.
