Por?m, o uso insustent?vel da tecnologia pode comprometer seu avan?o. O uso indiscriminado de herbicidas em culturas GM contribuiu para a sele??o de plantas daninhas resistentes. Herbicidas como glyphosate t?m despontado como o principal respons?vel pela sele??o dessas esp?cies. Para tanto, op??es de manejo de plantas daninhas em culturas GM est?o em estudos, com a finalidade de reduzir a press?o dessas mol?culas sobre as plantas daninhas. A mesma situa??o tamb?m come?a a ser descrita para o ammonium glufosinate que ? uma alternativa ao glyphosate. Atentos ?s proje??es, estudos envolvendo alternativas de manejo nessas culturas devem ser realizados. Com isso, objetivou-se nesse estudo, avaliar a seguran?a da aplica??o dos herbicidas atrazine e nicosulfuron, sobre os gen?tipos de milho GM, Herculex? e PowerCore?. Estudos a campo foram realizados envolvendo tr?s gen?tipos de milho, dois gen?tipos GM Herculex? e PowerCore?, e um isoh?brido, isento dos transgenes (controle). Os gen?tipos foram submetidos aos herbicidas atrazine, nicosulfuron e ammonium glufosinate nas safras de 2016 e 2017. Ap?s a aplica??o, foram avaliadas a atividade fisiol?gicas das plantas por meio da an?lise de fluoresc?ncia da clorofila a. Tamb?m avaliadas a atividade oxidativa das enzimas catalase (CAT), super?xido dismutase (SOD) e peroxidase do ascorbato (APX). Aos 100 dias ap?s a semeadura, plantas foram coletadas para avalia??o da composi??o qu?mico-bromatol?gicas, e no est?gio R6 foram coletados os gr?os para avalia??o da produ??o e composi??o qu?mica. Os herbicidas promoveram estresse vegetal no s?timo dia ap?s a aplica??o no gen?tipo Herculex. Ammonium glufosinate, nicosulfuron e atrazine + nicosulfuron reduziram a atividade da CAT, SOD, e o atrazine aumentou a atividade das enzimas. N?o foi observado efeito dos herbicidas sobre a produ??o dos gr?os. However, the unsustainable use of technology can threaten its advancement. The indiscriminate use of herbicides in GM crops contributed to the selection of resistant weeds. Herbicides like glyphosate have emerged as the main responsible for the selection of these species. Therefore, weed management options in GM crops are under study, in order to reduce the pressure of these molecules on weeds. The same situation also begins to be described for ammonium glufosinate which is an alternative to glyphosate. Attentive to the projections, studies involving management alternatives in these crops should be carried out. The objective of this study was to evaluate the safety of herbicides atrazine and nicosulfuron on GM, Herculex? and PowerCore? maize genotypes. Field studies were carried out involving three maize genotypes, two GM Herculex? and PowerCore? genotypes, and one isogenic, free of transgenes (control). The genotypes were submitted to the herbicides atrazine, nicosulfuron and ammonium glufosinate in the harvests of 2016 and 2017. After application, the physiological activity of the plants was evaluated by fluorescence analysis of chlorophyll a. The oxidative activity of the catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) enzymes were also evaluated. At 100 days after sowing, plants were collected to evaluate the chemical-bromatological composition, and in the R6 stage the grains were collected for evaluation of the chemical composition and composition. The herbicides promoted plant stress on the seventh day after application in the Herculex genotype. Ammonium glufosinate, nicosulfuron and atrazine + nicosulfuron reduced CAT, SOD activity, and atrazine increased enzyme activity. No effect of herbicides on grain yield was observed.
