Por?m demanda um saber tecnol?gico mais avan?ado por parte do professor e, consequentemente, uma forma??o mais s?lida e mais ampla. Considerando este cen?rio, desenvolveu-se o presente estudo com o objetivo principal de investigar a utiliza??o de softwares educacionais por professores de matem?tica, egressos do curso de Licenciatura em Matem?tica do Instituto Federal de Minas Gerais campus S?o Jo?o Evangelista. Para tal, realizou-se uma pesquisa de campo de car?ter qualitativo-descritivo. Inicialmente buscou-se identificar como o Projeto Pedag?gico do Curso (PPC) prop?e a utiliza??o dos softwares educacionais dentro das disciplinas do curso de Licenciatura em Matem?tica. Por meio de question?rio online, verificou-se que os softwares educacionais foram utilizados no decorrer do curso. Constatou-se que aproximadamente metade dos entrevistados que atuam como professores de matem?tica alegaram utilizar e/ou ter utilizado softwares educacionais em suas pr?ticas de ensino. Ap?s a an?lise de dados desta etapa, buscou-se identificar como os professores de matem?tica utilizam os softwares em suas pr?ticas de ensino, os desafios e as potencialidades. Para isto, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas, analisadas por meio da t?cnica de an?lise de conte?do. S?o in?meros os desafios voltados para infraestruturas insuficientes das institui??es educacionais, que muitas vezes impossibilita aos professores realizar aulas em ambientes informatizados. Mesmo assim os entrevistados tentam, dentro de seus limites e possibilidades, utilizar softwares nas pr?ticas de ensino e aprendizagem visando proporcionar ben?ficos nas pr?ticas pedag?gicas. Os benef?cios citados pelos professores est?o relacionados ? quest?o da agilidade nas pr?ticas de ensino, ao melhor aprendizado dos alunos, ? amplia??o das possibilidades de explorar conte?dos, dentre outros. The integration of educational software expands the possibilities that the teacher has for the use of the computer in the construction of knowledge. However, it demands a more advanced technological knowledge from the teacher and, consequently, a more solid and broader formation. Considering this scenario, this study was developed with the main objective of investigating the use of educational software by mathematics teachers, graduated from the Mathematics Degree course of the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais campus S?o Jo?o Evangelista. For this, a qualitative-descriptive field research was carried out. Initially, we sought to identify how the Pedagogical Project of the Course (PPC) proposes the use of educational software within the subjects of the Mathematics Degree course. Through an online questionnaire, it was found that the educational software was used during the course. Approximately half of the respondents who work as math teachers were found to use and / or have used educational software in their teaching practices. After descriptive analysis of data from this stage, we sought to identify how math teachers use software in their teaching practices, challenges and potentialities. For this, semi-structured interviews were conducted, analyzed using the content analysis technique. There are numerous challenges facing insufficient infrastructure of educational institutions, which often make it impossible for teachers to take classes in computerized environments. Even so, the interviewees try within their limits and possibilities to use software in teaching and learning practices, aiming to provide beneficial in pedagogical practices. The benefits cited by teachers are related to the issue of agility in teaching practices, better student learning, increased possibilities to explore content, among others.
