Resumo: | A diastereoselective three-component cascade reaction, catalyzed by p-sulfonic acid calix[4]arene, provides a unique method to access diverse julolidine derivatives in high yields. Additionally, the reaction was also monitored by mass spectrometry and the mechanistic pathway uncovered. |
