Resumo: In the last years, there was a considerable increase in the national production of mango. That increase happened in function of the change of alimentary habits, recognition of the contribution nutritious onal and it looks for for healthier victuals. However, the excess of applications of defensive chemical in the handling sanitarium of the mango it can result in fruits with risk to the human health. One of the alternatives used to minimize that problem it is the Integrated Production of Fruits (PIF), because, through the adoption of rational technologies, it provides the production of victuals with quality patterns demanded by the markets, besides adapting to the requirements of order economical, ecological and social. In that context, the objectives of the present work went to monitor the occurrence of curses and diseases in the culture of the mango, in you cultivate them Haden and Palmer, and to evaluate the production and the physical characteristics and chemistries of the fruits. It was accomplished weekly accompaniment of curses and diseases in the studied areas, located in commercial property in the municipal district of Janaúba, MG. The data collected relative to the incidence of curses and diseases in the monitored plants they were logged in spreadsheets developed by Semi-arid Embrapa. For the accomplishment of the you analyze physics, chemistries and production, 10 plants sampling were maybe used to the in each area of the you cultivate Palmer and Haden. The plants were divided in 4 quadrants. In each quadrant it was picked a fruit. The four fruits picked in each plant they were mischievous to the laboratory, where it was proceeded the weight and measurement of the length and diameter of the same ones. Seven days after the crop, when the fruits reached the complete ripening, the same ones were again heavy, being evaluated the tenor of soluble solids (SS), pH and titratable acidity (AT) of the pulp of the fruits. The other fruits of the plant were counted and heavy in the house of packing of the property. In agreement with the results, the curses and found diseases were the same ones in the two you cultivate. The flower malformation and the thrips presented level of economical damage in the mango 'Palmer' and 'Haden' in the irrigated conditions of the North of Minas Gerais. The mango 'Haden', with 10 years, presented larger indexes of curses and diseases in relation to the 'Palmer', with 4 years. The fruits of the you cultivate Palmer and Haden they presented excellent commercial pattern to the internal and external market in the physical and chemical attributes, with superiority in the dimensions of the fruits of Palmer. The loss of mass of the fruits of cultivating Haden during the ripening was larger than the fruits of cultivating Palmer. To cultivate Haden, with 10 years, it produced the fruit/plant double in relation to Palmer, with 4 years. The mango 'Palmer' with planting closer, presented larger productivity that the mango 'Haden' in planting close.

Esse aumento ocorreu em função da mudança de hábitos alimentares, reconhecimento da contribuição nutricional e busca por alimentos mais saudáveis. No entanto, o excesso de aplicações de defensivos químicos no manejo fitossanitário da mangueira pode resultar em frutos com risco à saúde humana. Uma das alternativas utilizadas para minimizar esse problema é a Produção Integrada de Frutas (PIF), pois, através da adoção de tecnologias racionais, proporciona a produção de alimentos com padrões de qualidade exigidos pelos mercados, além de adequar-se aos requisitos de ordem econômica, ecológica e social. Nesse contexto, os objetivos do presente trabalho foram monitorar a ocorrência de pragas e doenças na cultura da mangueira, nas cultivares Haden e Palmer, e avaliar a produção e as características físicas e químicas dos frutos. Foi realizado monitoramento semanal de pragas e doenças nas áreas estudadas, localizadas em propriedade comercial no município de Janaúba, MG. Os dados coletados relativos à incidência de pragas e doenças nas plantas monitoradas foram anotados em planilhas desenvolvidas pela Embrapa Semi-árido. Para a realização das analises físicas, químicas e produção, foram utilizadas 10 plantas amostradas ao acaso em cada área das cultivares Palmer e Haden. As plantas foram divididas em 4 quadrantes. Em cada quadrante foi colhido um fruto. Os quatro frutos colhidos em cada planta foram levados ao laboratório, onde se procedeu a pesagem e medição do comprimento e diâmetro dos mesmos com o auxílio de um paquímetro. Sete dias após a colheita, quando os frutos atingiram o amadurecimento completo, os mesmos foram novamente pesados, avaliando-se o teor de sólidos solúveis (SS), pH e acidez titulável (AT) da polpa dos frutos. Os demais frutos da planta foram contados e pesados na casa de embalagem da propriedade. De acordo com os resultados, as pragas e doenças encontradas foram as mesmas nas duas cultivares. A malformação floral e o tripes apresentaram nível de dano econômico nas mangueiras Palmer e Haden nas condições irrigadas do Norte de Minas Gerais. A mangueira Haden , com 10 anos, apresentou maiores índices de pragas e doenças em relação à Palmer , com 4 anos. Os frutos das cultivares Palmer e Haden apresentaram excelente padrão comercial para o mercado interno e externo nos atributos físicos e químicos, com superioridade nas dimensões dos frutos da Palmer. A perda de massa dos frutos da cultivar Haden durante o amadurecimento foi maior que os frutos da cultivar Palmer. A cultivar Haden, com 10 anos, produziu o dobro de frutos/planta em relação à Palmer, com 4 anos.
