Será também realizada uma analise crítica da convenção sobre o uso de comunicações eletrônicas, ressaltando-se outros meios de normatização da matéria de contratos ele- trônicos internacionais, e perquirindo assim sobre a necessidade de adesão da CUECIC pelo Brasil.This paper aims to investigate the relationship between the standardization of the International Commercial Law and new technologies, with emphasis on the implementation of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), an instrument that came into effect in Brazil in 2014, together with the United Nations Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts (ECC), an instrument that has not been adopted by Brazil, but has already came into force internationally.
