Resumo: This paper presents strategies for teaching polyhedra in high school, focusing on the calculation of arca and volume, with applications of new technologies as free software and easily accessible in the day to day activities. Here we describe also workshops with activities related to polyhedra, with students and teachers of the school, where it was found that most teachers did not use softwares and activities contained in the textbook adopted.
