Distribuição espacial e programa de tomada de decisão de controle usando armadilha para Hypothenemus hampei

Resumo: The coffee berry borer, Hypothenemus hampei (Ferrari) (Coleoptera: Scolitydae) is a serious problem for the majority of the world's Coffea arabica L. The traps with atractives are important tools to use in control decision-making systems of pests. For this pest is not exist works about spatial distribution and control decision-making systems with these traps. Thus this work has objectived have decision-making systems to H. hampei with traps. Thus was determined i) the spatial distribution, ii) conventional sampling plan and, iii) the economic injury level of adults H. hampei with attractives traps on Coffea arabica. This study was conduced in C. arabica fields in Ponte Nova and Paula Cândido cities, Minas Gerais State, during the productions 2007/2008 and 2008/2009. To evaluated the densities of insects, was used traps with the atractives methanol, ethanol and benzaldeyde. These traps was making with soda bottle painted of red, capturing adults. Variability in the spatial distribution standard between fields, phenological phases and years was observed. The spherical, exponential and gaussian semivariogram models showed spatial dependence to the number of adults of H. hampei per trap. Was observed that of 31 models choose, 23 (74%) was isotropics and 8 (26%) was anisotropics. Was observed moving of the adults inter- and intra-plants of coffee, that was in direction of declivity area. The number os traps using to decisionmaking by conventional sampling plan was at least one trap per ha. The economic injury level in coffee fields in flower phase, chumbinho fruits phase and in expansion was of 430, 86 and 29 adults/trap, respectively.

As armadilhas com atraentes constituem importantes ferramentas a serem usadas em sistemas de tomada de decisão de controle de pragas, não existindo para essa praga trabalhos de distribuição espacial e de sistemas de tomada de decisão de controle apoiados no uso de tais armadilhas. Assim, objetivou-se com esta pesquisa gerar sistemas de tomada de decisão para H. hampei com uso de armadilhas, para tanto determinou-se i) a distribuição espacial, ii) plano de amostragem e iii) o nível de dano econômico de adultos de H. hampei utilizando armadilhas com atraentes em Coffea arabica. O estudo foi conduzido em lavouras de C. arabica em Ponte Nova e Paula Cândido, Minas Gerais, durante as safras agrícolas 2007/2008 e 2008/2009. Para avaliar as densidades de insetos, utilizaram-se armadilhas contendo os atraentes metanol, etanol e o agente difusor benzaldeído. Estas armadilhas foram confeccionadas com garrafa pet pintadas de vermelho, de tal forma a atrair e aprisionar os adultos. Verificou-se variabilidade no padrão de distribuição espacial entre as lavouras, fases fenológicas e anos de avaliação. Os ajustes dos modelos de semivariograma esférico, exponencial e gaussiano indicaram existir dependência espacial para o número de adultos de H. hampei por armadilha. Observou-se que dos 31 modelos selecionados, 23 (74%) foram isotrópicos e 8 (26%) foram anisotrópicos. Observou-se tendência demovimentação dos adultos ao longo das fileiras e entre as fileiras do café, as quais se encontravam no sentido da declividade do terreno. O número de armadilhas usadas para a tomada de decisão pelo plano de amostragem convencional foi cerca de uma armadilha/ha.
