Resumo: | Three experiments were realized to evaluate different digestibles tryptophan:lysine ratios (Trp:Lys) for piglets in the initial phase of growth with or without sanitary challenge and different digestibles threonine:lysine ratios (Thr:Lys) for piglets reared in condictions of sanitary challenge. Was used a randomized block design with eight replicates of four animals each (trial plot) in experiment one and seven replicates of three animals in experiments two and three. The body weight (BW) was used as criterion to form blocks. The Trp:Lys ratios studied in experiment one were 0.15; 0.17; 0.19; 0.21 e 0.23 and in experiment two were 0.155; 0.175; 0.200; 0.225 e 0.250. In the experiment three, the Thr:Lys ratios were 0.56; 0.63; 0.70; 0.77 e 0.84. The parameters evaluated were subjected to variance analysis using the program of Statistical Analysis SAEG. The ratios between amino acids were evaluated using quadratic or linear models according to the best parameters adjustment to level of 5% probability. In the one experiment, Trp:Lys ratios increased linearly (P < 0.01) the BW,BW in fasting and weight gain (ADG), gain-to-feed ratio (G:F) in Phase I and II. In the second experiment, BW, ADG, feed intake (ADFI) of piglets, protein deposition rates and G:F in Phase II were increased (P = 0.05). In third experiment, the Thr:Lys ratios increased (P < 0.10) the feed intake of threonine, protein deposition rates, protein/fat ratio and the absolute and relative weights of liver and kidneys, and reduced fat deposition and the content of haptoglobin in serum. It is concluded that the digestibles tryptophan to lysine for piglets in the initial phase is 0.22, while for piglets housed in conditions of sanitary challenge is 0.20. The ratio of digestibles threonine to lysine that provided best result for piglets in initial phase of growth housed on conditions sanitary challenge was 0.65. |
