It is easy to perceive the presence of financial mathematics in our daily lives. Moreover, there is the "appetite" for consumption among young people and the difficulties presented by the students in solving problems involving Financial Mathematics. It was also observed that the difficulties begin with the concept of percentage and is more complicated when you start to work with the concepts of interest and rate of interest, especially in problems that involve taking decisions in the face of different payment options in sight or term. We present different methodological proposals exist for teaching Financial Mathematics, especially for highschool, and conducted an analysis of proposals seeking to verify if their approaches include the importance of the subject, its use to solve problem situations involving percentages, interest rates and interest rate, and the motivations of the historical development of Mathematical Finance to contextualize the study of the various concepts involved in the topic. Furthermore, we propose some activities involving percentages, interest and interest rate, and evaluate the results of applying the same three classes of second year in a public school in the municipality of Carangola-MG. Analyzing the results, it was evident that the use of the Monopoly game Super STAR, reworked, early in the process of teaching the content of Financial Mathematics is an important strategy for motivating students and to develop a more meaningful learning for the same.
