Resumo: The text is the result of research on art and its consequences in Early Childhood Education, with a focus on the teaching internship and its formative potential. The academic’s activities and knowledge present the art and its potency in working with children in the internship. It addresses the importance of art in the Pedagogy course, emphasizing research, experimentation and reflection. The results show that the understanding of children and their potential experienced in Early Childhood Education diverge from the conceptions contained in the guiding documents and those practices that reduce the creation proposals through models and limited material persist, reflecting on the intern's actions.

Las actividades y los conocimientos de los académicos presentan el arte y su potencia para trabajar con niños en la práctica. Aborda la importancia del arte en el curso de Pedagogía, enfatizando la investigación, la experimentación y la reflexión. Los resultados muestran que la comprensión de los niños y sus potencialidades vividas en la Educación Infantil divergen de las concepciones contenidas en los documentos rectores y que persisten prácticas que reducen las propuestas de creación a través de modelos y materiales limitados, reflejándose en las acciones del pasante.O texto resulta da pesquisa sobre a arte e seus desdobramentos na Educação Infantil, com foco no estágio de docência e em seu potencial formativo. Os fazeres e os saberes dos acadêmicos apresentam a arte e sua potência no trabalho com crianças no estágio. Aborda a importância da arte no curso de Pedagogia, enfatizando a pesquisa, a experimentação e a reflexão.
