Resumo: In this article, through the analysis of the play Dura lex sed lex, no cabelo só Gumex, the objective is to reflect on the place of laughter in Vianninha’s dramaturgical production. Thus, we observe, through the use of theater magazine mechanisms present in the play, one of the author's aesthetic arguments as a way to combine social criticism and a language that could be considered as ''popular''.
