Resumo: The article aims to reflect on the elements and the consequences of conceiving the Popular University Legal Advice as a service that enables the critical formation of subjects in different aspects of teaching or become educator. The methodology used for the development of the work is the documentary research, literature and experiences as a student-teaching practice. The work is divided into three chapters. The first two seek discuss the epistemological and methodological contents of the law. The third chapter is reflected on the relationship between Popular University Legal Advice and curriculum reform, also questioning the utopia of the licenciate degree in the field of Law.

A metodologia utilizada para o desenvolvimento do trabalho é o da pesquisa documental, bibliográfica e vivencia prática como estudante-docente. O trabalho está estruturado em três capítulos. Os dois primeiro procuram discutir o conteúdo epistemológico e metodológico do Direito.
