Resumo: Due to the increase of highway projects in Brazil and in the world, the term earthmoving has been widely used in any project that involves land and its movement. But there is not much reliable material available for online consultation. One alternative is to rely on printed and paid literature. Due to the lack of available material for free, the dissemination in scientific journals becomes an alternative, for its reliability. In this sense, the objective of this work was to bring a material related to the subject, in a concise way, allowing readers and professionals interested in the subject, a reliable reference base for the main points referring to earthworks and earth movements, roads.

Porém não há muito material confiável disponível para consulta online. Uma das alternativas é basear-se na literatura impressa e paga. Devido à falta de material disponível de forma gratuita, a divulgação em revistas científicas torna-se uma alternativa, pela sua confiabilidade.
