Landscape Study Methods Related to Urban Rivers: Research and Interpretation

Resumo: Rivers, since antiquity, are present in the history of the formation and growth of cities; however, the occupations on its banks often hide them from the landscape, making them stop being protagonists and become part of the urban drainage system. Through the selection of relevant works for a systematic literature review, this article seeks to investigate and interpret research that deals with methods/methodologies of studies involving river - city - landscape to understand the academic dimension related to the theme in different countries and the focus predominantly given, seeking works with study methods related to public policies of landscape preservation for densely occupied fluvial areas. Among the works studied, a predominance of socio-environmental, ecological, sustainable studies was identified, but there are few methodologies that treat rivers and their landscape as unique elements, affirming the need for methods that study the changes in rivers in the face of urban occupations, in order to support the development of public policies for the preservation of this landscape.

A través de la selección de obras relevantes para una revisión sistemática de la literatura, este artículo busca investigar e interpretar investigaciones que se ocupan de métodos/metodologías de estudios que involucran río - ciudad - paisaje para comprender la dimensión académica relacionada con el tema en diferentes países y el enfoque predominantemente dado, buscando trabajos con métodos de estudio relacionados con políticas públicas de preservación del paisaje para áreas fluviales densamente ocupadas. Entre los trabajos estudiados se identificó un predominio de estudios socioambientales, ecológicos, sustentables, pero existen pocas metodologías que traten a los ríos y su paisaje como elementos únicos, afirmando la necesidad de métodos que estudien los cambios en los ríos frente a la urbanización. ocupaciones, con el fin de apoyar el desarrollo de políticas públicas para la preservación de este paisaje.Os rios, desde a antiguidade, estão presentes na história da formação e do crescimento das cidades; no entanto, as ocupações em suas margens, muitas vezes, os ocultam da paisagem, fazendo com que deixem de ser protagonistas e passem a fazer parte do sistema de drenagem urbana. Por meio da seleção de trabalhos relevantes para uma revisão sistemática da literatura, o presente artigo busca investigar e interpretar pesquisas que tratem de métodos/metodologias de estudos envolvendo rio - cidade - paisagem para compreender a dimensão acadêmica relacionada ao tema em diversos países e o foco predominantemente dado, buscando trabalhos com métodos de estudo relacionados a políticas públicas de preservação da paisagem para áreas fluviais densamente ocupadas.
