Resumo: This article aims to understand how the discourses occur in the production of urban space, having as object the city of Anápolis, located in the center of the Cerrado of Goiás. It is possible to understand which discourses materialize, based on the division into three procedural periods of the city. The appropriation of these narratives by academic-scientific discourses often tends to alter the essence of the identity of cities. In this sense, Anápolis places itself in a space that is in constant estrangement and recognition, discontinuity and transformation. The qualitative, bibliographic and documentary research, in order to improve and perceive this city through time, was adopted as methodology;  supported by the analysis of historical photographs of the city, for a better understanding of the processes studied.

Es posible comprender qué discursos se materializan, a partir de la división en tres períodos procesales de la ciudad. La apropiación de estas narrativas por los discursos académico-científicos a menudo tiende a alterar la esencia de la identidad de las ciudades. En este sentido, Anápolis se sitúa en un espacio que está en constante extrañamiento y reconocimiento, discontinuidad y transformación. Se adoptó como metodología la investigación cualitativa, bibliográfica y documental, con el fin de mejorar y percibir esta ciudad a través del tiempo; apoyado en el análisis de fotografías históricas de la ciudad, para una mejor comprensión de los procesos estudiados.O presente artigo visa compreender como se dão os discursos na produção do espaço urbano, tendo como objeto a cidade de Anápolis, localizada no centro do Cerrado goiano. É possível compreender quais discursos se materializam, com base na divisão em três períodos processuais da cidade. A apropriação dessas narrativas pelos discursos acadêmico-científicos, muitas vezes, tende a alterar a essência da identidade das cidades. Nesse sentido, Anápolis se coloca em um espaço que está em constante estranhamento e reconhecimento, descontinuidade e transformação.
