Portuguese architectural heritage: interventions in Santo Antônio de Lisboa’s heritage, Florianópolis, SC

Resumo: The use and interventions detected in Santo Antônio de Lisboa’s architectural heritage, a historic neighborhood located in Florianópolis, SC, are discussed. The site presents an urban layout that is a reflection of the Portuguese colonization on the Island of Santa Catarina and presents an important collection of buildings of historical and cultural interest, listed at the municipal level and inventoried by the federal agency. The research methodology includes a bibliographic review in which the theme of heritage and the phenomenon of cultural tourism are approached, relating them to the historical aspects and the urban and architectural context of the neighborhood. Through field research combined with the use of GIS, the remaining heritage is described and the main interventions in the buildings are analyzed, using as a complementary method the development of volumetric digital models to represent heritage. It is observed that the architectural remnants underwent numerous transformations to meet contemporary uses, with adaptations that resulted in aesthetic changes, perceived in the volumetry and architectural elements.

El sitio presenta un trazado urbano que es reflejo de la colonización portuguesa en la Isla de Santa Catarina y constituye un importante conjunto de edificaciones de interés histórico y cultural, catalogadas a nivel municipal e inventariadas por la agencia federal. La metodología incluye una revisión bibliográfica en la que se aborda el tema del patrimonio y el fenómeno del turismo cultural, relacionándolos con los aspectos históricos y el contexto urbano y arquitectónico del barrio. A través de una investigación de campo combinada con el uso de SIG, se describe el patrimonio remanente y se analizan las principales intervenciones presentes en los edificios, utilizando como método complementario el desarrollo de modelos digitales volumétricos para representar el patrimonio. Se observa que los remanentes arquitectónicos sufrieron numerosas transformaciones para atender los usos contemporáneos, con adaptaciones que resultaron en cambios estéticos, percibidos en los volúmenes y elementos arquitectónicos.Discute-se a utilização e as intervenções identificadas no patrimônio arquitetônico de Santo Antônio de Lisboa, núcleo histórico situado em Florianópolis, SC. O local apresenta traçado urbano que é reflexo da colonização portuguesa na Ilha de Santa Catarina e constitui um importante acervo de edificações de interesse histórico e cultural tombado a nível municipal e inventariado pelo órgão federal. A metodologia inclui revisão bibliográfica em que se aborda o tema patrimônio e o fenômeno do turismo cultural, relacionando-os com os aspectos históricos e o contexto urbano e arquitetônico do bairro. Por meio de pesquisas de campo aliadas ao uso do SIG descreve-se o patrimônio remanescente e analisam-se as principais intervenções presentes nas edificações, utilizando-se como método complementar o desenvolvimento de modelos digitais volumétricos para representar o patrimônio.
