A versão desse conto de Charles Perrault é uma das mais conhecidas, principalmente devido às adaptações em longa-metragem de Walt Disney. Os contos de fadas são comumente ligados á literatura infantil que, dentro dos estudos literários, nem sempre é prestigiada. O presente trabalho pretende compreender como se dá a recepção conto de fadas Cinderela ou O sapatinho de Vidro por crianças por volta dos quatro ou cinco anos com ênfase no efeito estético proporcionado por essa obra. Para esse fim, foi necessário, primeiramente, delimitar os aspectos da corrente crítica que embasou o estudo do texto e suas implicações no leitor. Em seguida, elaboramos um modelo que contempla as características desse leitor em desenvolvimento, para então mostrar no texto seus possíveis efeitos. Ao estudar a recepção de Cinderela, observamos que, para a criança do século XXI, o conto de Perrault pode não ter o mesmo apelo que para as acrianças de seu tempo. Contudo, a temática central da rivalidade fraterna permanece atual, assim como todo tema inerente a condição humana. Entendemos também que essa versão conto pode não ser tão capaz de se manter em diálogo com o público contemporâneo no que se refere à estrutura da narrativa e até mesmo a ideologia presente na obra. No entanto, o significado essencial da obra continua atual e muito popular, como podemos constatar na diversidade e no sucesso das adaptações dessa história. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTCinderella is one of the oldest and most famous fairy tales around the world. A version of this story by Charles Perrault is one of the best-known, mainly due to Walt Disney’s feature film adaptations. Fairy tales are commonly connected will children's literature that within the literary studies is not always honored. This study aims to understand how is the reception of the fairy tale Cinderella or The Glass slipper for children at around four or five years with emphasis on the aesthetic effect provided by this work. For this purpose, it was first necessary to define the aspects of the critical current that bases the study of the text and its implications on the reader. Then, we developed a model that considers the characteristics of the reader in development, then show in the text its possible effects. By studying the reception of Cinderella, we observed that, for the child of the XXI century, the tale of Perrault cannot have the same appeal which it had on kids of his time. However, the central theme of sibling rivalry remains current, like every theme inherent in the human condition. We also understand that this version of the tale may not be able to remain in dialogue with the contemporary public with regard to the narrative structure and even to the ideology present at text.
