Há quem acredite que a sua ausência é patológica. Assim, esse trabalho analisou as variações linguísticas de um grupo de moradores da comunidade Kalunga Vão de Amas, município de Cavalcante GO. Para compor o corpus deste trabalho, foram coletados dados junto a moradores da própria comunidade. Foram selecionados seis sujeitos da pesquisa organizados em dois grupos focais. O primeiro é composto de pessoas mais velhas, na faixa etária de 59 a 72 anos; já o segundo é composto de jovens na faixa etária de 18 a 32 anos. Quanto à fundamentação da pesquisa, recorremos a autores que abordam a Língua, Linguística e VariaçõesLinguísticas, tais como, Bagno (2007), Bortoni- Ricardo (2005), Calvet (2002), entre outros. Some believe that its absence is pathological. So ess study analyzed the linguistic variations of a group of residents of the community Kalunga Go to Amas, municipality of Cavalcante GO. To comprise the corpus of this study, data were collected at the community residents. Five research subjects organized into two focus groups were selected. The first is made up of older people, aged 50-75 years; already the second is made up of young people aged 18-30 years. As the foundation of the research, we turn to authors that address the language, linguistics and linguistic variations, such as Bagno (2007), Bortoni- Ricardo (2005), Calvet (2002), among others.
