O presente trabalho propõe a Tradução Comentada dos elementos paratextuais (preâmbulo, prefácio e introdução) desse texto denso e repleto de emoção que tanto me causou impacto durante sua leitura e que me motivou a realizar a tradução. Portanto, o objetivo aqui proposto é tentar, com a tradução desses recortes, causar nos leitores o mesmo impacto que me foi causado ao ler esse impressionante relato. With this work, I present a proposal for a commented translation of the paratexts (foreword, preface and introduction) of this dense and emotion-filled text that had so much impact on me during its reading and that motivated me to make the translation. The goal here is to try, with the translaction of those excerts, to cause the same impact on readers as it caused me when I read this impressive account.
