Busca-se compreender como podemos adequar os programas, conteúdos, metodologia e avaliação do currículo comum para atender às necessidades educacionais especiais dos alunos de inclusão no ensino regular de uma escola pública e de como fazê-los participar de todo o processo de ensino-aprendizagem que se dá em sala de aula mesmo que alguns objetivos, métodos e avaliação sejam modificados ou tenham um tempo maior de duração para que os mesmos sejam atingidos e cumpridos por todos os alunos. Através da pesquisa foi possível perceber que há uma discussão crescente acerca das adequações curriculares e como as mesmas devem ser feitas de forma a contribuir com a inclusão. Através dos questionários e da entrevista semi-estruturada percebi que os professores das salas de aula regular se envolvem pouco no processo das adequações curriculares e ainda buscam muito apoio da sala de recursos. Ao analisar os documentos recolhidos durante a pesquisa ficou claro que as adequações curriculares são mais amplas e compreendem vários contextos da vida escolar dos alunos de inclusão e neste trabalho apesar de centrar-nos no currículo e no desenvolvimento do trabalho pedagógico é importante ter em mente a abrangência do que estamos discutindo. _________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis study was developed so as to observe how the curricular adaptations for inclusion are applied in schools and the development of the pedagogical work in a school of the State Secreteriat of Education of the Government of the Federal District, located in Asa Sul. A quantitive and a qualitative research was applied as well as the analysis of documents. As to better develop the programs, contexts, methodology and evaluation of the normal school curriculum adapted and suited for the inclusion of special needs children in the regular educational system of a public school and how to get these children to fully take part in the entire teaching-learning process of a classroom, even though some of the objectives, methods and evaluation have been modified or take longer to be completed by all of the students. This research will show that there is great discussion concerning curricular adaptations and how they should be made applicable so as to successfully contribute to the inclusion of special needs children. The study was done using a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview which showed that the teachers of the regular curriculum class were not very involved in the process of curricular adaptation and still sought out much help from the resource room. Upon close analysis of the documents collected during the research it became clear that the curricular adaptations for inclusion have a broad spectrum and embody several contexts of the school life of special needs children.
