Monografia (Bacharelado em Fisioterapia)—Universidade de Brasília, Brasília, 2014.http://bdm.unb.br/handle/10483/10412Monografia (graduação)—Universidade de Brasília, Faculdade de Ceilândia, 2014.OBJETIVOS: Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar as principais morbidades apresentadas pelas pacientes submetidas ao tratamento para o câncer de mama e descrever a atuação fisioterapêutica antes e depois da implantação do Centro de Alta Complexidade em Oncologia do Hospital Universitário de Brasília. METODOLOGIA: Trata-se de um estudo do tipo descritivo, retrospectivo. Foi realizada a leitura de prontuários de pacientes atendidas no serviço e os dados coletados incluíram tratamento cirúrgico, morbidades apresentadas e atuação fisioterapêutica nos anos de 2008 a 2012. RESULTADOS: Foram avaliados 98 prontuários, onde 71,4% das pacientes realizou mastectomia radical modificada, 73,5% tiveram a dor como principal complicação pós-cirúrgica e, quanto à atuação fisioterapêutica, todas as pacientes receberam orientações gerais e a cinesioterapia foi a segunda conduta mais realizada. CONCLUSÃO: A principal cirurgia realizada entre 2008 e 2012 foi mastectomia radical modificada, a principal morbidade foi a dor e que, após a inauguração do Centro de Alta Complexidade em Oncologia, mais pacientes foram atendidas e, portanto, a atuação fisioterapêutica aumentou. As condutas estão de acordo com a literatura, porém ainda há necessidade de padronização de recursos e equipamentos. ________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTOBJECTIVES: This study aimed to evaluate the major morbidities presented by patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer and describe physiotherapy performance before and after implementation of the Center for High Complexity Oncology at University Hospital of Brasilia. METHODOLOGY: This was a descriptive study, a retrospective. Was done by reading the medical records of patients assisted at the service and the collected data included surgical treatment, morbidity presented and physiotherapy performance from 2008 to 2012. RESULTS: 98 medical records were evaluated and 71.4% of patients underwent radical modified mastectomy, 73.5% had pain as the main complication and regarding physiotherapeutic procedures, all patients received general advise, and conduct exercises were the second most frequently performed. CONCLUSION: The main surgery performed between 2008 and 2012 was modified radical mastectomy, the main morbidity was pain and after the inauguration of the Center for High Complexity Oncology, most patients were cared for and, therefore, increased physiotherapy performance.
