Wassily Kandinsky nasceu russo, mas teve seu amadurecimento artístico na Alemanha, onde lecionou na escola de Bauhaus por 16 anos. Nesse período procurou uma nova metodologia de ensino, que buscava aproximar as artes da vida das pessoas e utilizá-la também nas ciências. Teorizou o trabalho dos artistas na medida em que explicou de forma clara e objetiva uso das cores e seus significados em seus dois livros, “Do Espiritual na Arte” (1910) e “Ponto Linha e Plano” (1925). Considerado o pai do abstracionismo, Kandinsky revolucionou todo o pensamento artístico do inicio do século XX. Sua tela Improvisação 26 reflete o ideal da pintura na medida em que nela se encontram todos os elementos que caracterizam a sua obra, como o uso das cores, os traços marcantes na cor preta e vermelha, as retas e as curvas. Cada espaço de tela é preenchido com um objetivo determinado: o de demonstrar o sentimento do autor em relação à obra e o do espectador que vê a tela sempre de modo diferente, quando não se prende a uma representação pré-estabelecida. Esta pesquisa tem como parâmetro Wassily Kandinsky e sua influencia na arte como um todo. Espera-se, deste modo, que o estudo contribua para que a proposta seja incorporada nas aulas de educação artística prevista para o primeiro semestre de 2013, do oitavo ano do ensino fundamental. _________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis research has the purpose, besides its bibliographical character, of performing a reading of the painting Improvisation 26 (Rowing), by Wassily Kandinsky, painted in 1912. Wassily Kandinsky was born in Russia, but matured artistically in Germany, where he lectured at the Bauhaus for 16 years, and where he sought a new teaching methodology that tried to approach art to people‟s lives and also use it in science. He theorized all the works of the artists while explaining in a clear and objective manner the use of colors and its meanings by publishing two books, Concerning the Spiritual in Art, in 1910, and Point and Line to Plane, in 1925. Considered the father of abstract art, Kandinsky revolutionized the entire artistic thinking of the early twentieth century. His canvas Improvisation 26 (Rowing), reflects the ideal of painting insofar as in it we find all of the elements that characterize his work, like the use of colors, its marking strokes in black and red, and the straight lines and the curves. Each space of the canvas is filled with a specific purpose or to show the feeling of the author regarding the work and of the viewer who sees the painting always differently, when not attaching to a predetermined figure, thus providing freedom to the artist. This research has, therefore, Wassily Kandinsky and his influence on art as a whole as a parameter.
