Contudo, para desenvolver o turismo de forma responsável, seguindo os princípios do desenvolvimento sustentável, é necessário que se tenha consciência em relação a importância do patrimônio e a necessidade de sua preservação. Nesse sentido, a educação patrimonial ocupa um papel de importância fundamental no processo de desenvolvimento do turismo sustentável. However, to develop tourism in a responsible form, following the principles of the sustainable development, it is necessary to have conscience of the importance of the patrimony and the necessity of its preservation. In this direction, the patrimonial education occupies a paper of basic importance in the process of development of the sustainable tourism.
