Para melhor entendimento do assunto foi desenvolvido inicialmente um texto intitulado os saberes docentes e a formação do pedagogo, pois sabendo que a formação inicial é um dos meios mais apropriados para o exercício da profissão com competência, é importante que se faça uma formação de qualidade. E para ser competente esse profissional precisa de saberes que podem se desenvolver de várias maneiras e que recebem novos significados de acordo com as situações e contextos da prática educativa. São noções vindas da formação profissional e de saberes curriculares, disciplinares e da experiência docente. Na segunda parte do trabalho foi realizada a análise da pesquisa para conhecer o perfil desse profissional e conhecer a visão dos profissionais formados do Curso de Pedagogia a respeito dos saberes curriculares da formação inicial. A pesquisa revelou em relação ao perfil, que esses pedagogos são em sua grande maioria mulheres, de faixa etária entre 25 e 45 anos, que eles se realizam no trabalho que desenvolvem, mas não veem reconhecimento social da profissão, são formados em sua maioria em instituições de Ensino Superior e também em grande maioria na modalidade presencial. Em relação aos saberes disciplinares, evidenciou que, para os Pedagogos, a formação inicial atende a demanda de trabalho, mas existe a necessidade de pesquisa para desenvolver a prática e que os profissionais sentem a falta de algumas disciplinas que poderiam ter cursado para desenvolver sua atividade profissional com maior confiança em especial as referentes a saberes sobre a educação inclusiva, práticos, de ética e cidadania e relações interpessoais, de métodos de ensino, de fundamentos do ensino, de planejamento e gestão, além de saberes sobre o mercado de trabalho da profissão. Veem ainda a necessidade de aprofundamento em algumas áreas, em especial as referentes aos métodos e técnicas, seguidos das relacionadas a planejamento e gestão, mas nota-se que valorizam algumas disciplinas cursadas na graduação que também são da área relacionada a métodos e técnicas, seguidos das de teoria e fundamentos. _________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACTThis study sought to meet the vision of educators regarding structuring curricular knowledge of pedagogy, understanding what they deem as important knowledge of initial formation. For better understanding of the subject was initially developed a text entitled Knowledge teachers and pedagogical formation, because knowing that the initial training is one of the most appropriate means for the exercise of the profession with competence, it is important to make a quality training. And to be responsible for these professional needs of knowledge that can develop in various ways and that receive new meanings according to the situations and contexts of educational practice. Are notions from vocational training and curricular knowledge, teaching experience and discipline. In the second part of the work was carried out research analysis for the profile of this professional and know the vision of the graduates of the course of pedagogy as curriculum knowledge of initial formation. The research revealed in relation to the profile, that these teachers are mostly women, aged between 25 and 45 years, that they take place in the work they do, but do not see social recognition of the profession, are formed mostly in institutions of higher learning and also in large majority in face-to-face mode. In relation to disciplinary knowledge, showed that, for the Teachers, the training meets the demand, but there is a need for research to develop the practice and that the pros feel the lack of some subjects that could have attended to develop their professional activity with greater confidence in particular those pertaining to knowledge about inclusive education, practical of ethics and citizenship and interpersonal relationships, teaching, methods of teaching fundamentals of planning and management, in addition to knowledge about the labour market.
