Resumo: This paper presents the results of a follow-up study of a group of six patients suffering from multiple sclerosis during an expert patient training in France and shows the effects of using life history as a tool to explore patients' personal and interpersonal experiences. La metodología del trabajo se basó en el enfoque de la investigación biográfica. Los resultados muestran que los participantes fueron capaces de explorar sus experiencias y encontrar un espacio para la liberación de sentimientos a través de la narrativa, contribuyendo a la formación del paciente experto y permitiendo a los pacientes explotar y valorar las experiencias vividas y los saberes adquiridos.Cet article présente les résultats d'une étude d’accompagnement d'un groupe de six patients atteints de sclérose en plaques lors d'une formation de patients experts en France et montre les effets de l'utilisation du biographique comme outil pour explorer les expériences personnelles et interpersonnelles des malades. Le travail s’est basé sur l'approche de la recherche biographique. Les résultats montrent que les participants ont pu explorer leurs expériences et trouver un espace pour la libération des sentiments à travers le récit, ce qui a pu contribuer pour la formation de patient expert en permettant aux patients d'explorer et de valoriser les expériences et les connaissances acquises.Este artigo apresenta os resultados de um trabalho de acompanhamento de um grupo de seis doentes que sofrem de esclerose múltipla durante uma formação de paciente expert na França e mostra os efeitos do uso da história da vida como uma ferramenta para explorar experiências pessoais e interpessoais dos doentes. A metodologia do trabalho baseou-se na abordagem da pesquisa biográfica.
