Resumo: | This research refers to the Dance Festival Project, at the Manoel Vicente Gomes Basic Education School, a public state school, in Santa Catarina. The objective of the investigation understands the role of a dance project in the development of students’ skills in the language and impact to the school community. The data were obtained through the analysis of the students reflective diaries of elementary and high school, as well as the practice report of the guiding teachers. Among the results, emphasizes the relevance of this project to the school community and the construction of a protagonist student and aware of the skills that can be developed through dance. |

La investigación tiene como objetivo comprender el papel de un proyecto de danza en el desarrollo de las habilidades de los estudiantes en el campo de los idiomas y en el impacto en la comunidad escolar. Los datos se obtuvieron mediante el análisis de los diarios reflexivos de los alumnos de Primaria - Últimos Años y Secundaria, así como los informes de prácticas de los profesores rectores. Como resultados, se resalta la relevancia de este proyecto para la comunidad escolar y la construcción de un alumno protagonista y consciente de las habilidades que se pueden desarrollar a través de la danza.A pesquisa refere-se ao Projeto Festival de Dança, desenvolvido na Escola de Educação Básica Manoel Vicente Gomes, escola pública estadual de Santa Catarina. A investigação visa a compreender o papel de um projeto de dança no desenvolvimento das habilidades dos estudantes no âmbito das linguagens e no impacto à comunidade escolar. Os dados foram obtidos através da análise dos diários reflexivos dos estudantes do Ensino Fundamental – Anos Finais - e do Ensino Médio, e dos relatos de prática das professoras orientadoras.
