Resumo: | By establishing a dialogue between the contributions of Philosophy and the field of education, the aim is to bring the thought of Baruch de Espinosa or Benedictus de Spinoza (1632-1677) closer to the debates in the field of Environmental Education (EE). In his contributions, he developed a philosophy in which he intended to polish the human lens, bringing deep reflections on the existence and its relations with the environment. Espinosa's philosophy has an illuminating potential that can bring subsidies to the EA and mobilize an educational practice capable of leading the subjects to act critically and to overcome the social relations that put the humanity in crisis. |

En sus aportes desarrolló una filosofía en la que pretendía pulir el lente humano, aportando profundas reflexiones sobre la existencia y las relaciones con el medio. La filosofía de Espinosa tiene un potencial esclarecedor que puede aportar subsidios para pensar los procesos que dan fundamentos a la Educación Ambiental y movilizar una práctica educativa capaz de llevar a los sujetos a actuar críticamente y problematizar las relaciones sociales que ponen en crisis a la humanidad.Ao estabelecer um diálogo entre os aportes da Filosofia e o campo da educação, este trabalho trata de aproximar o pensamento de Baruch de Espinosa ou Benedictus de Spinoza (1632-1677) aos debates do campo da Educação Ambiental (EA). Em suas contribuições, ele elaborou uma filosofia em que pretendia polir as lentes humanas, trazendo profundas reflexões sobre a existência humana e as relações socioambientais.
