Resumo: | This paper presents a critical analysis of educational activiteswith excepcional individuals by the author, during the last 17 years.Issues concerning success and failures are pointed out and some suggestionsare provided for professionals and researchers. The analysisconsiders three levels: the macro-systemic conditions, intra-institutionalconditions and conditions/characteristics of the individual students, parentsand educators. The importance of the tryad: intervention, continuededucation for the professionals and research, is emphasized, as well asthe need of active involvement in the fight for the legal, constitutional rightsof the exceptional citizens. |

Destaca causas de sucessos e fracassos, apresentando sugestões para profissionais e pesquisadores da área. A análise é feita em três níveis: o das condições macro-sistêmicas, o das condições intra-institucionais e o das condições/características individuais de alunos, pais e educadores.
