Resumo: ln order to test the Theory of Rational Action, theinfluence of attitude and subjective norm on behavioral intention wasverified for pre-marital sex intercourse, using male and female studentsaged 1 6 to 21. Results, in general, confirm the theoretical model withpositive significam correlations between the variables. Sex differenceswere found for attitude, subjective norm and intention, with malespresenting more favorable scores in ali three measures, related to premaritalsex intercourse.

Os resultados em geral confirmaram o modelo teórico apresentando correlações positivas significativas entre as variáveis.
