TRANSFORMATION AND CONSTRUCTION IN THE SOCIAL INTERACTION:: THE LANGUAGE'S ROLE

Resumo: Based upon the idea designed by Vygotsky in the beginningof this century, the present paper emphasizes the relative contribution oflanguage development to the construction of man, underlining aspectsrelated to intersubjectivity, representation and language as action, consideringrecent results in Linguistics, Philosophy and Psychology. It is concludedthat the notion of representation is incompatible with intersubjectivityand language as action.

It is concludedthat the notion of representation is incompatible with intersubjectivityand language as action.Seguindo a idéia delineada por Vygotsky no início deste século, o presente trabalho procurou ressaltar a contribuição relativa da linguagem na formação do homem, destacando os aspectos ligados à intersubjetividade, representação e linguagem como ação a luz de dados e análises conceituais recentes em Linguística, Filosofia e Psicologia.
