It analyzes the organization of audiovisual collection in TV studios, linked to universities. It aims to establish a common understanding about the informational treatment carried out in these environments, on a typology such as audiovisual. It is an exploratory-descriptive study with a quantitative approach, carried out through research in colleges and communication schools of state and federal public universities in which the Journalism course is present. The data collection used the questionnaire technique, having the online form with closed questions as instrument and, being still established, the statistical analysis of the data. The results indicate the organization of audiovisual collections present in university TV studios from codifications based on the year, subject or course of production and type of material, and the signaling with colored and alphabetic labels. It concludes that informational treatment of audiovisual documents does not consider the traditional bibliographic classification systems, orienting themselves to their own classification and ordering, with appropriate adaptations to the local reality of the studios investigated.
