Sustainable Development Goals and Archival Policies: the role of municipal archives in the 2030 Agenda

Resumo: | This article aims to discuss how the creation of archival policies at the municipal level can contribute to the sustainable development goals, notably with the 2030 Agenda, and the role of archives in this process. To fulfill this objective, bibliographic research was used as a methodological procedure, based on the analysis of goal 11, to make cities and communities safe, resilient and sustainable, and goal 16, to promote peace, justice and effective institutions, and its relation to the concept of archival policies. As a result, the constituent elements of municipal archival policies that relate to the 2030 Agenda and the possible intersections between sustainable development goals and Archival Science as field of research. |

As a result, the constituent elements of municipal archival policies that relate to the 2030 Agenda and the possible intersections between sustainable development goals and Archival Science as field of research.El concepto de desarrollo sostenible se ha construido en las últimas décadas e incorpora nuevos enfoques a medida que las diferentes áreas del conocimiento comienzan a interactuar en busca de sus objetivos. Considerando la gran relevancia del desarrollo económico y social y la sostenibilidad en el contexto de la Sociedad de la Información, se cuestiona cuál es la relación entre la información y el concepto de desarrollo sostenible y cómo las políticas informativas, y específicamente las políticas de archivo, están relacionadas y pueden influir el logro de los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible de las Naciones Unidas dentro de los municipios. Sobre la base de este cuestionamiento, este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar cómo la creación de políticas de archivo a nivel municipal puede contribuir a los objetivos del desarrollo sostenible, en particular con la agenda 2030, y el papel de los archivos en este proceso. Para cumplir este objetivo, el procedimiento metodológico utilizado es la investigación bibliográfica, basado en el análisis del objetivo 11, destinado a construir ciudades y comunidades sostenibles, y el objetivo 16, vinculado a la promoción de la paz, la justicia y las instituciones eficaces, asociado a la discusión del concepto de políticas de archivo. Como resultado, se identifican los elementos constitutivos de las políticas de archivo municipal que se relacionan con la Agenda 2030 y las posibles intersecciones entre los objetivos del desarrollo sostenible y la Archivística como área de conocimiento.Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir como a criação de políticas arquivísticas em âmbito municipal pode contribuir com os objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável, notadamente com a agenda 2030, e o papel dos arquivos neste processo. Para cumprir este objetivo, utiliza-se como procedimento metodológico a pesquisa bibliográfica, tendo como base a análise do objetivo 11, voltado à construção de cidades e comunidades sustentáveis, e do objetivo 16, ligado à promoção da paz, da justiça e de instituições eficazes, associada à discussão do conceito de políticas arquivísticas.
