As análises aqui realizadas se deram com o objetivo produzir o registro, a leitura e a compreensão das percepções ambientais dos educadores (20 professores e 05 servidores) do Centro de Ensino Fundamental do Pipiripau II, localizado na Sub-Bacia Hidrográfica do Ribeirão Pipiripau - Planaltina-DF. O estudo do espaço e das relações sociedade e natureza foram fundamentais na condução da particularização, formulação e delineação do objeto de estudo. Neste sentido, a construção do conceito de natureza possibilitou a discussão em torno da universalização dos espaços transformados, chamados de Espaço Técnico-Científico Informacional. Assim, partindo da vertente fenomenológica, como pressuposto da Geografia Humanística, e utilizando as categorias analíticas de espaço e lugar, insideness e outsideness e topofilia, como aporte conceitual e metodológico, foi possível desenvolver o levantamento dos aspectos referentes à percepção ambiental dos participantes da pesquisa. Por meio da realização do curso "Espaço e Lugar - Percepção Ambiental da Sub-Bacia Hidrográfica do Ribeirão Pipiripau-DF", se pôde constatar a invasão do meio técnico-científico nas percepções de ambiente por parte dos professores, o que lhes empobrece sua visão do meio natural. Este fato alimenta a sensação de separação entre o indivíduo e o lugar, aumentando a noção de distanciamento a respeito do lugar e do ambiente natural, inviabilizando um adequado tratamento destas questões no cotidiano escolar. Diante dos resultados do estudo, propõe-se a Educação Ambiental, associada à Geografia Humanística, como instrumento capaz de promover a interação entre o ensino formal e o mundo-vivido, resultando em outro tipo de encontro com o ambiente, por meio do desenvolvimento de atividades não apenas exploratórias, que possibilitem, neste caso, primeiramente ao professor, uma confluência mais consciente e suave com o meio ambiente, capaz de levá-lo a refletir e se sentir parte integrante deste. Isto se traduz em uma maior interação escola/comunidade/lugar, retirando deste trinômio as porosidades capazes de permitir a instalação de práticas alienadas às demandas ambientais ai existentes.This paper aims at studying the space and the relations between society and nature, in a Humanistic Geography’s approach, having a perspective which goes beyond physic/spatial aspects. The analyses presented here focused on making the environmental perceptions’ records, reading and comprehension, which were done by the educators (20 teachers and 05 servants) of the Centro de Ensino Fundamental do Pipiripau II, located in the Sub-Watershed of Pipiripau Brook – Planaltina-DF. The study of the category place was fundamental in the conveyance of the particularization, formulation and diagramation of the object of research. To that end, the historic-geographical approach of the construction of nature concept led to a discussion on the universalization of transformed spaces, which are called Informational Technical-Scientific Spaces. Therefore, starting from the phenomenological side, as a presupposition of Humanistic Geography, and using the analytical categories of space and place, insideness and outsideness and topophilia, as a conceptual and methodological intake, it was possible to raise aspects which refer to the environmental perception of the research participants. Through the course “Space and Place – Environmental Perception of the Sub-Watershed of Pipiripau-DF”, we could find the invasion of the technical-scientific part in the environment perceptions by teachers, which depauperates its view of the natural environment. This fact feeds the sensation of separation between the individual and the place, increasing the notion of distancing concerning the latter and the natural environment, making unreachable an adequate treatment of those questions in the scholar daily routine. Based on the study results, we propose the Environmental Education, associated with the Humanistic Geography, as a means which can be able to promote the interaction between the formal study and the lived-world, leading to another type of meeting with the environment, through the development of activities that are not only explanatory. These activities, at first, can lead the teacher to a confluence which is more conscientious and softer with the environment, capable of taking him/her to reflect upon and feel part of it.
