Humanization in cooperative education: applications and contributions in management and practices of credit cooperativism

Resumo: | Cooperativism is fundamental for territorial socioeconomic development, and it is worth noting the representativeness of credit unions in this scenario. In parallel, contributions of cooperative education are evidenced from the perspective of humanization for cooperative management and practices. Based on these aspects, this article proposes to investigate the applications and contributions of cooperative education, in the light of the context of humanization, in credit cooperatives. Bibliographic research, documentary research and interviews were carried out with managers of three cooperative credit agencies, in a municipality in the northwest of Rio Grande do Sul. The research identified that the strategies and practices of the analyzed agencies contemplate the values, techniques and methods of cooperative education, and that cooperative education is permeated by humanizing assumptions in these places. It is concluded that humanization in cooperative education contributes to the management and practices of the analyzed agencies, impacting on credit cooperativism, cooperativism and society, promoting territorial socioeconomic development. Paralelamente, se evidencian aportes de la educación cooperativa desde la perspectiva de la humanización para la gestión y las prácticas cooperativas. A partir de estos aspectos, este artículo se propone investigar las aplicaciones y aportes de la educación cooperativa, a la luz del contexto de humanización, en las cooperativas de crédito. Se realizó pesquisa bibliográfica, pesquisa documental y entrevistas con gerentes de tres agencias cooperativas de crédito, en un municipio del noroeste de Rio Grande do Sul. La investigación identificó que las estrategias y prácticas de las agencias analizadas contemplan los valores, técnicas y métodos de la educación cooperativa, y que la educación cooperativa está permeada por supuestos humanizadores en estos lugares. Se concluye que la humanización en la educación cooperativa contribuye a la gestión y prácticas de los organismos analizados, impactando en el cooperativismo de crédito, el cooperativismo y la sociedad, promoviendo el desarrollo socioeconómico territorial.
