Resumo: | ABSTRACT: Arboviruses are viral diseases transmitted to humans by arthropod vectors, with emphasis on the culicid dipterans Aedes (Stegomya) aegypti Linnaeus and Ae. (Stegomya) albopictus Skuse, etiological agents that cause Dengue, Urban Yellow Fever, Chikungunya Fever and Chikungunya Fever virus. The was aimed work to quantitatively inventory Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus by means of larval surveys in an urban environment in Itacoatiara city, Amazonas, Brazil, in addition to identifying the neighborhoods with the highest occurrence of both species and the types of containers most used as breeding grounds for the development of their larvae and pupae. The collections were carried out in 16 neighborhoods and we verified that Ae. aegypti is dispersed in all the places visited, the largest number of immatures occurred in the most populous neighborhoods and with the greatest number of properties. Ae. aegypti preferred breeding sites. were the mobile deposits such as vases, plates, flasks with water, followed by drums, barrels, cisterns and garbage in general. Ae. albopictus larvae were collected in fixed deposits such as gutters, drains and tires. KEYWORDS: Amazon, arboviruses, blood meals. |
