 Situational diagnosis is a strategic means that favors the knowledge of needs and social problems focused not only on health, but also on other spheres that interfere in the well-being of the analyzed community, such as: the conditions of education, transportation, basic sanitation, security and housing. Providing data that identifies such conditions facilitates the planning, execution and evaluation of actions as well as the establishment of priorities. The main objective of this study is to provide information through a situational diagnosis, in order to serve as a subsidy for the elaboration of strategies for solving problems raised. For this, This study is based on the construction of a qualitative and exploratory situational diagnosis of a true case about the Sururu do Capote community, located in the city of Maceió in the State of Alagoas, requested the Physiotherapy class of the State University of Sciences of Health of Alagoas (UNCISAL), through the discipline of Health and Society IV.
