Resumo: | Brazilian basic education has always been face-to-face, where teachers and students have direct contact and interaction every day of the school year. In 2020, in March, due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, all face-to-face classes in the country were suspended, with a recess being suggested for most schools and social isolation, with a forecast of a brief return, which will not occurred due to the progressive increase in the number of infected cases. In this pandemic period, the way to provide return to school was through synchronous and asynchronous classes. The objective of this study is to present the characteristics of remote and hybrid teaching, addressing their advantages and disadvantages, and the consequences of the new coronavirus in education. The methodology used consists of a bibliographical review, where the search took place in the SciELO and Google academic bases, through the descriptors Hybrid, remote and Covid-19 teaching, totaling 24 works included. Being addressed the new types of teaching, how this is occurring and its effect. Therefore, the contribution of this study is observed as a way to guide researchers, readers and education professionals, in addition to serving as a theoretical basis for other studies, and despite the control of the virus, the conscious use of disposable masks, still remains a way for infection control, being suitable for use in closed environments, such as classrooms. |
